The Rest of The Journey is a 501c3 nonprofit organization for men and women that offers 5 day restorative retreat programs, workshops, intensives and ZOOM counseling.
The Rest of The Journey was designed to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of survivors. We exist to help survivors, and the families of survivors, who experienced sexual abuse or acts of violence regain their balance in life.
Sexual abuse and domestic violence issues for both men and women are all highly complex issues with many ramifications, and counseling requires highly specialized skills and insight to optimize recovery. Connection with other survivors is a vital component of healing from abuse.
The Rest of The Journey provides separate programs with different "focuses" for men and women but one thing is the same, The Rest of The Journey offers a safe and supportive environment designed to help participants find new hope through private counseling, intensives, Zoom sessions and our restorative retreats.
Survivors of abuse from all over the United States and Canada attend The Rest of The Journey retreats to help them find their inner healing. The Rest of The Journey is engaged in programs that benefit a broad base of the community. While we welcome “all walks of life”, The Rest of The Journey is based on biblical principles.
